The Ox Road of Häme crosses Tarvasjoki. In the past the road was used by monks, merchants, pilgrims, cavalrymen and soldiers. All of them headed from Turku to Hämeenlinna.

Herrasmanni farm

The history of Herrasmanni farm of goes back to the year 1316. Nowadays many kinds of adventurous excursions are arranged for all kind of groups. In Herrasmanni you can try your skills on an aerial cableway, in the Karelian skittles game or see how you far you throw an axe! There is also a chance to paddle, eat at a lean-to and go to the sauna made of an old dugout. The sauna is so popular that the tourists have even been asking for its construction instructions.
